Steps in the Playground Installation Process

  1. Discuss goals: First, we meet with you to discuss goals, preferences and requirements for your playground. We offer inclusive playground designs with ramps, handles, transfer stations and adaptive swings with high backs to allow children of all ages and abilities to play.
  2. The right spot: Choosing the right location for your commercial playground is key. We can help you do this during our pre-installation visit.
  3. Obtain approval: After completing our design process, we get your feedback and approval.
  4. Clear the area: We proceed with a site clearance once you approve everything. The team removes any debris, vegetation or obstacles from the installation site.
  5. Ground leveling: The team prepares the area to create a level surface for the playground equipment and safety surfaces.
  6. Delivery of playground: Once we prepare the site, we can deliver the playground equipment to you.
  7. Install equipment: We install all playground components, including swings, slides, panels, decks, crawl tubes, bridges and any other equipment you added to your custom order. Playgrounds are only safe when all items and equipment are correctly installed, so our team only consists of professional installers. On average, the installation process takes two to eight weeks.
  8. Final touches: We conduct a final inspection to check accessibility and ensure everything is correctly installed and meets safety standards.
  9. Site clean up: We thoroughly clean the site and then officially hand over the completed project.
  10. Offer support: After installation, we continue to provide support for any issues or questions arising after installation.

If you ever have a problem with your playground equipment, River Valley Recreation is here for you. We won’t refer you to the equipment manufacturer. Instead, we’ll visit your site to take care of the problem.

LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY
on all stainless steel hardware, steel posts, aluminum posts, aluminum caps and aluminum clamps against structural failure due to defects in materials or workmanship.

TWENTY- FIVE (25) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
on all cast aluminum Spring Rider castings against structural failure due to defects in materials or workmanship.

FIFTEEN (15) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
on all steel rails, handles, rungs, loops and walls, all Play-Tuff™ coated perforated steel decks, steps, and bridges, all rotationally molded and HDPE sheet plastic components, excluding recycled plastic components, against structural failure due to defects in materials or workmanship.

TEN (10) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
on all shade canopy fabric made of UV Stabilized HDPE monofilament yarn and tape against significant fading.

THREE (3) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
on all springs, moving swing parts, swing seats and other swing components, as well as all recycled plastic components against failure due to defects in materials or workmanship.

ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
on any other product or part not specifically covered above against failure due to defects in materials or workmanship. All warranties above commence on the date of the original invoice from Krauss Craft, Inc.
