River Valley Recreation has extensive experience designing, building and maintaining playgrounds, and we’ve expanded our services to include commercial fencing. We can supply and install commercial fencing for schools, parks, community centers, churches and day cares. We follow the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) F2049-11 standard, which outlines the requirements for building fences that protect children’s outdoor play spaces. We are also part of the COSTARS 14 contract — which means you can avoid the tedious bid process when you work with us!
The Fencing Materials We Offer
A strong fence at the right height is the foundation for security in any outdoor playground. Our commercial fencing contractors can use the following materials to construct and install playground fences:
- Chain link: Chain link fences are affordable and durable, making them an ideal choice for playground areas. They are open and allow clear visibility, which helps parents and supervisors keep an eye on children while they play, even from outside the fence.
- Polyvinyl chloride (PVC): PVC fencing can withstand extreme weather conditions, making it an excellent long-term investment. This fencing material will also enhance the aesthetics of your property.
- Aluminum: Aluminum fences offer a versatile appearance with simple maintenance. They’re a secure option with a classic wrought-iron look.
- Wood: Wooden fences are durable and easy to repair. They often increase property value, and there are various species and finishes to choose from. You can also design wooden fences with panels that offer greater privacy, which can be beneficial in creating a more secluded play area.
