How Often Do You Replace Playground EWF?

Engineered Wood Fiber has a long life span, but it depends on usage, climate and maintenance. Public parks and schools may need to replenish the wood chips faster due to continued use than churches, which children may only use on weekends. Generally, check your playground wood chips at least once annually and replenish them as needed to maintain the correct depth.

Choosing suitable playground mulch is essential to maintain the safety of the playground and help prevent injuries. When choosing engineered wood fiber for playgrounds, you need to consider several factors:
